If you already have a broker you prefer, we’re happy to work with them too.

Tariffs are taxes applied to goods imported into the US. They vary based on the product type, country of origin, and current trade policy. Getting the classification or documentation wrong can result in overpayment, fines, or shipments stuck at the border. If you import products to sell in the US, staying on top of tariff rules is essential.

Every imported product is assigned an HS (Harmonized System) code, which determines the duty rate. Classification can be tricky, especially for products that could fall into multiple categories. Our customs partners can help you identify the correct codes and make sure you’re paying the right amount.

Yes. Shipments can be delivered directly to our warehouses in Lakewood, NJ or Salt Lake City, UT once they clear customs. We require that all brokerage fees, duties, and taxes are paid in full before goods arrive. Once they’re here, we receive and process them the same day.

Generally, yes. US Customs typically requires a Federal Tax ID (EIN) and a US mailing address for imports. Fulfillrite can be listed as a storage location on documentation, but we can’t serve as the “Ultimate Consignee” or provide our Tax ID for import purposes. We have a guide on obtaining an EIN if you need one.

Brands that previously imported low-cost goods with minimal paperwork now have new compliance requirements. Having a knowledgeable customs partner is more important than ever.

On our end, we monitor inbound shipments and coordinate with your broker to get goods into our warehouse as fast as possible once they’re cleared.
